Team Nemesis brings reality based training to the arena of modern combat sports: we teach Amateur Boxing, Freestyle Wrestling, Filipino Martial Arts and specialise in Close Quarter Combat, a very practical self protection system that deals with a short duration, high intensity conflict, often characterised by a sudden burst of hostility at an extremely close range.
Team Nemesis was founded in August 2004 by two long term training partners, Dmytro Konstantinov and Tim Leach. Over the years, it was responsible for teaching Self Protection and The Law to the Security at the University of Bath, running Awareness & Self Protection seminars for general public, training local community groups, as well as running regular classes covering threat assessment, conflict resolution, overview of the law, control & restraint and combat in all ranges.
Since 2006, the team has also been working closely with Trojan Free Fighters, one of Britain’s top professional Mixed Martial Arts teams, and two of the country’s most experienced coaches: Saeed Esmaeli who teaches Wrestling, and Islan Eltuyev who coaches Boxing. Supported by their vast coaching experience and depth of knowledge on the subject, the team prides itself on providing unprecedented quality of training to a new generation of competitors in Olympic sports of Boxing and Wrestling.
